this is a memory from several years ago...but in ALIAS season 3 (or was it 4?) there was this wacky/eccentric scientist dude that was nibbling on a piece of "facon"...
as in imitation bacon, most likely made from soy.
hilarious, yes, but why would anyone eat such a thing? health schmealth, i say. vegetarian "meats" are...just odd.
i mean, if i eat tofu, then it'll be good tofu that tastes like TOFU, not "kinda like chicken". (agedashi tofu is a particular fav. of mine--though i have yet to try frying some myself).
anyways...
